What is the band schedule?

Vicci Martinez will play 2 sets between 7 & 10 p.m. (Local bands Eden plays from 3:30 - 4:45 p.m., and Free Beer@Exit 80 is on from 5:00 - 6:45 p.m.) See a complete event schedule and more in our event program inserted in the NKC Tribune or online at http://issuu.com/nkctribune/docs/2010rails_to_ales_brewfest_program - you will also receive a copy of the program at the event.

Are dogs or children allowed at the Brewfest?

No, please leave all pets and children with someone you like. The Brewfest is open to adults 21 and over only, please, and ID is required (we card everyone at the gate, so be prepared to show ID). Thank you for your understanding.

will there beplenty of seating available at the brewfest? Can/ should we bring our own chairs? Are we allowed to bring backpacks to the brewfest? (to carry sunglasses, water, snacks, etc.)

While we have quite a bit of seating (I've rented over 600 chairs!) it still runs short. Most people are up and walking around but it's always nice to be able to sit down. Folding/ collapsible chairs are welcomed for those that want to pack them. We would like to discourage backpacks and large bags. As with most other venues, they create a lot more work for us. Any bags brought in will be subject to a search. While it may not be exactly what you're after, we'll have a good selection of food available at the event. Also, most of the food vendors will have bottles water and or sodas available as well. Food servings are reasonable sizes and all priced at $5.00 or less. One of the vendors is bringing Hanson Soda's for those a bit more health conscious and wanting a break from beer!

Please let me know if you have any more questions and thanks for contacting us!

Do we get any beer with our ticket purchase?

Yes! (If you choose to use the 5 scrips you receive with your ticket for beer. You can also use them to purchase anything else at any of the booths in the Brewfest - cider, wine, food, souvenirs, etc.)

How does the scrip work?

You will receive a starter pack of 5 scrip with your ticket purchase when you enter the gate. (They will be in with your sampling glass kit.)

Each scrip is good for one 5 oz. beer sample, or two scrips will get you a 5 oz. wine sample. They are also good for a $1.25 exchange rate at any of the food or souvenir booths in the event, and can be used for the beer bottle ring toss game too.

Additional scrips are available for purchase at the scrip booth located near the center of the event for 4 for $5.
